Amazing light and shadow installation wins ArtPrize

Pakistani-American artist Anila Quayyum Agha won both the popular and juried vote at ArtPrize for her absolutely incredible ‘Intersections.’ This was the first time in the history of the Grand Rapids-based competition that an artist won both categories. In my opinion, it was absolutely well deserved. The piece, a 6.5-foot laser-cut wooden cube, suspended in the middle of an empty room and lit from within, casting beautiful and intricate patterns on the surrounding walls. Amazing piece!
