The snow covered world of Lars Daniel Rehn

These are the narrative paintings Swedish artist, Lars Daniel Rehn who paint these humorous, strange, and magical scenes of a fictional village which is always covered in snow. In an interview he did, he describes his work: “You can say It´s my interpretation of evolution and the story of mankind. Only it´s much more simplyfied, but yet as complex. It´s a long story that started with the invasion of spaceinvaders and developed into an even longer story about this virus, religous extrememists, a mad king and two rivaling soccerteams among a whole lot of more. You can say they live in a nuclear iceage.”
