Woven portraits by David Samuel Stern

I’ve seen my share of very good double exposure photography, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen an artist do it quite like David Samuel Stern. Instead of overlaying multiple images onto a single piece of paper, David takes two separate photographs, cuts them up and then weaves the pieces together. The technique abstracts the final image and adds a very nice textural component to the work. I really, really like this work.
